Congressman Randy Fine confronted over Islamophobic comments

In a video exclusively obtained by MEE from the Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPAC), former department of homeland security official and current MPAC Vice President Haris Tarin confronts Congressman Randy Fine for Islamophobic comments he made.

Fine pushes past Tarin and threatens to get him arrested if he doesn’t walk away.

The hardline Republican Congressman, who is fiercely pro-Israeli, caused a backlash after writing in a social media post that he would choose dogs over Muslims and in another one, that “Palestinian is a synonym for evil”.

He has previously faced condemnation and calls to resign from Democratic lawmakers, civil rights groups and Jewish organisations over his rhetoric toward Muslims and Palestinians.
