Since his SS26 runway debut as the creative director of Jean Paul Gaultier last September, Duran Lantink has well and truly made his mark on the house. Starting with a bang, that initial SS26 collection was as daring as it was divisive, splitting audiences down the middle as soon as the first look hit the catwalk, quickly followed by bare bums and nude bodysuits – oh my. Titled Junior, it took cues from Gaultier’s playful 1988–94 diffusion line of the same name, and saw Lantink reimagine archive tropes through his own abstract design language. Now, the accompanying campaign for Duran’s debut collection has been unveiled.
