Jet2 has launched another new Greek destination from Birmingham Airport to the island of Thassos.
It is one of Greece’s best kept secrets and is now available to book for Summer 2027 with the UK’s largest tour operator.
Known as the ‘Emerald Isle of the Aegean’, Thassos offers holidaymakers an idyllic escape and, as one of the northernmost islands of Greece, it is covered in pine forests, olives groves, mountain villages and endless beaches.

Beaches such as Golden Beach, Tripiti and Makryammos offer miles of shallow, crystal-clear waters, soft golden bays and dramatic rocky coves, making the island perfect for families as well as couples.
Having retained a traditional village feel with family-run tavernas and a relaxed pace of life, Thassos offers a slice of ‘real Greece’.
Today’s announcement comes in response to continued demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to book holidays to Greece and its islands. The UK’s favourite airline and tour operator has put holidays on sale to Thassos from Birmingham Airport from May 12 to September 29, 2027.
Weekly Wednesday flights will operate to Kavala International Airport, located on the mainland, giving customers plenty of choice and flexibility when it comes to enjoying an authentic slice of Greece. The addition of this newest airport gateway means that Jet2.com operates to 16 Greek airports, more than any other UK carrier.
Customers will take a ferry to Thassos from the mainland, and on arrival receive coach transportation to their accommodation in resort.
Jet2holidays has launched a range of new hotels ranging from 2 to 5-star across seven resorts in Thassos. The resorts include Agios Ioannis, Golden Beach, Limenaria, Potos, Skala Prinos, Skala Rahoni and Thassos Town, giving customers great choice and flexibility.
