Variety Cruises is celebrating the start of the European summer cruise season with the addition of a new itinerary, the company announced in a press release.
The seven-night cruise will explore the Greek Islands and Turkey, a country that hasn’t been visited by the company’s ships since 2016.
Sailing roundtrip from Athens aboard the Panorama, the itinerary will sail to the Cyclades and the Eastern Aegean, featuring a visit to Kusadasi.
Variety said that the call in the Turkish port will allow guests to visit the ruins of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The company noted that the itinerary also features visits to both “iconic and lesser-known Greek islands,” including Mykonos, Delos, Syros and Patmos.
Before returning to Athens, the cruise will also feature stops in Sifnos and Naxos, two destinations that will be featured in Variety’s itineraries for the first time since the company was founded in 1949.
“This new voyage is ideal for travelers seeking a refined yet immersive cruise experience in Greece and Turkey, offering effortless exploration, cultural depth and breathtaking scenery at every stop,” said Filippos Venetopoulos, CEO of Variety Cruises.
“Since my grandfather founded the company 76 years ago, it has been our mission to offer enriching experiences that go deeper into the destination. The addition of Sifnos and Naxos to our portfolio provides travelers with an opportunity to discover hidden gems and interact with local people, away from the more crowded tourist hotspots,” he added.
The new Greek Islands and Turkey itinerary will make its debut on October 9, 2026, with additional departures scheduled for 2027.
Variety said that the cruise is priced from $3,390 per person and includes two complimentary shore excursions in Delos and Ephesus.
Passengers can also take advantage of a launch discount of 20 percent on the October 2026 departure or an early booking discount of 10 percent on 2027 sailings.
Variety Cruises kicked off its European summer cruise season on March 20, 2026, departing from Athens on its Peloponnese Treasures: From Antiquity to Byzantium itinerary.
With the addition of this new voyage, the company now offers ten itineraries in Europe, with sailings focused on destinations in Greece, Italy, Malta, Croatia, Albania and Montenegro.
