Free outdoor movie night at Farmersville college campus

Collin College will host a free outdoor movie night on Saturday, March 28, at its Farmersville Campus, inviting families, students, and community members to enjoy an evening of entertainment under the stars.

The featured film will be the animated adventure “How to Train Your Dragon,” with showtime beginning at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to make the outdoor experience more comfortable. Free popcorn, candy, and water will be available, while food trucks will offer a selection of additional snacks and meals. The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Central Standard Time.

Movie night is part of Collin College’s ongoing efforts to engage the local community through family-friendly events and activities. In past years, the college has hosted outdoor movies, campus tours, and seasonal celebrations to give residents of all ages a chance to experience campus life in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

The Farmersville Campus, located at 301 East College Street, offers an accessible location for families in the surrounding areas. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early to find seating, explore the food trucks, and soak in the atmosphere before the movie begins.

The college reminds visitors to plan for the evening weather and dress comfortably, as the movie will take place entirely outdoors. Admission is free and open to the public, making it an ideal opportunity for residents to spend quality time with friends and family.
