Forget the critics — what’s the best new movie of 2026 (so far)?

Somehow, we’re already nearly a quarter of the way through 2026, and in these first few months of the year, we’ve already been treated to a handful of major releases.

Cinephiles might still be waiting for surefire blockbusters like “The Odyssey,” “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” “Avengers: Doosmday” and “Dune Part 3” to hit the silver screen later this year, but I figure now is a great time to take stock of the best new movies that have only just come our way — and I couldn’t think of a better way to do that than by throwing a vote over to you, our readers.
