The RX 9070 XT is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p and 4K, especially from a raw performance and pricing perspective. It features 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and is built on the latest RDNA 4 architecture, so you’re getting improved ray tracing and AI capabilities, and features like FSR4. In terms of performance, it’s a close competitor to the RTX 5070 Ti in some games, with the 5070 Ti taking the edge overall, due to its better ray tracing and AI performance. RAM and storage
You’veg ot 32GB of DDR5 here, which is going to be great for gaming, but especially good at making open-world titles feel and run more smoothly. For creative work, it’s also a winner, as it’ll allow you to work on huge files without completely grinding your PC to a halt. Storage is also good, coming in at 2TB, which is more than enough for most people, even with some AAA games tipping the scales at over 100GB nowadays.
Things to consider
As always, I’d consider an RTX 5070 Ti prebuild if you’re after better ray tracing and AI performance, and something that’s going to be more adept for creative workflows in applications like Blender. On the CPU side, if you’re going for something that’s content creation and productivity first, then it may make more sense to opt for something like an Intel i7-14700F, RX 9070 XT rig instead, as this will be both affordable, and have a much higher core count than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, making it much better for non-gaming tasks, like video editing, for instance.
