Are we ready to bee-lieve, see what we did there, that the Hornets can, actually be this year’s Pacers, maybe make a wild run all the way to the finals?
I bee-lieve.
I am feeling the sting, and I’ve got hive mentality.
I think that’s the only bee puns that I have left in me, but I’ll circle back at the end of the segment once I do a little bit more thinking.

I mean, the Hornets can score at such an incredibly high clip.
It feels like right now everything is clicking, and it has been.
They’ve consistently been clicking over the span of the last month and maybe even two months.

Then we’re seeing LaMelo Ball play at an incredibly high level.
Kon Knipple is playing like the Rookie of the Year, and dare I say should be Rookie of the Year.
I understand that Cooper Flagg was the bigger name coming into the season.
Kon Knipple is the Rookie of the Year.
They just, they all A- and, and Brandon Miller as well, shooting at such a high level.
This team has the mojo.
This team just, it, it, it just, it’s going, it’s clicking.
Like, everything is just clicking on all cylinders.
But if you’re gonna talk about if the, it’s this year’s Pacers, I don’t know if as, if I can go as far as to say that the Charlotte Hornets are going to find themselves in the NBA finals.

Keep in mind, this is still a young team, and this is still a team that’s new together.
When you’re looking at the rest of the East that has a lot more experience, and has a lot more experience as a unit, I don’t, I don’t know if, if that’s, i- if the Sh- if the Charlotte Hornets can overcome that, ’cause I think that postseason experience matters.
I do think that in order to break through, you have to be knocking on the door of a championship, or at least getting to an NBA finals.
So I don’t know if I can say with a lot of confidence really at all that the Hornets can find themselves coming out of the East and finding themselves in the NBA finals.

I don’t know if I see this Hornets team getting past the Celtics, but I absolutely can see this Hornets team being a giant slayer.
And if people aren’t paying attention now, and look, I guess I get it, Charlotte’s not the biggest basketball market out there, but if people aren’t paying attention now, people absolutely 1,000% will be when the Charlotte Hornets take down one of these big-time brand teams in the beginning of the postseason
