Lafayette, IN. (WLFI) – The Art League is hosting its annual “Cheers to Spring” fashion show Saturday at the Conference Center at the Courtyard by Marriott.
The event raises money for educational activities, exhibitions and programs of the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette.
People can shop pieces from a variety of vendors both off the runway and on the rack. They can also bid on raffle baskets and enjoy lunch.
Cindy O’Neal and Linda Miller with the Art League say events like this help serve a greater purpose.
“We start usually in October, put everything together and we start sales usually the first part of the year,” O’Neal said.
“We have four vendors and I think each of them have their own style,” Miller said. “There’s a little bit of everything for all of us.”
Vendors on the runway include Merle Norman, B Boutique, Urban Chique Boutique and Denhart’s Mercantile.
The spring fashion show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $60.
