LeBron James continues to add milestones and insane stats to an already decorated NBA career. Playing in his 23rd season, the 41-year-old still makes heads turn with his impeccable, and sometimes unbelievable, buckets while also contributing to the Los Angeles Lakers‘ winning cause.
On Wednesday, the purple and gold franchise registered a crucial win against the Indiana Pacers at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. They sealed the game 137-130 thanks to the MVP contenderLuka Doncic who scored 43 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists alongside Austin Reaves who contributed with 25 points and 8 assists. But King James also played an equal part in this victory, scoring valuable 23 points with 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

On Friday, NBA revealed a stunning stat accomplished by James following Wednesday’s game in his ongoing 23rd season.
According to a post by the league’s official account on Instagram, Saturday, it was revealed that 19.8% of LeBron James’ field goals made have been dunks this year. It’s the highest percentage of dunks from him out of his FGM during a single season in his entire career. It’s absolutely remarkable to say the least, considering the man is 41 now.

But considering how he has made sensational dunks in the past, this news surely won’t shock his avid fans. Back in 2022, James set a perfect record of dunks. During that season, he made 71/71 dunks, thus becoming the only player to make 100% of dunks on more than 50 attempts.
Just days ago, King James became the player to appear in most NBA games in the league’s history, breaking Robert Parish’s record of 1,611 regular season games.
Moving forward, the Lakers will hope to get more dunks and points from him to obtain a playoff ticket eventually this season. On Saturday, they will be up against the Brooklyn Nets in a home game at the Crypto.com Arena.
