Bayern insist Olise will stay

Journalist Christian Falk insists that Bayern Munich executives will refuse to sell Michael Olise this summer, even if they receive a €200 million bid.

Olise has proven he is one of the most exciting attacking talents in Europe since arriving in the Bundesliga from Crystal Palace, producing 16 goals and 27 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions this term.

Falk informed CF Bayern Insider that the club’s bosses have told him that Olise is not for sale this summer.

”In Germany, we’ve also heard about the rumours of Liverpool coming to the table with a €200m [£172.9m] bid for Michael Olise,” Falk said in the report.

”I can tell you that I’ve talked with the bosses of Bayern Munich, I talked with Max Eberl, the head of sport, and he said: ‘No chance! Michael Olise is not for sale. He’s the future of Bayern Munich’.

”Even if there is an offer of €100m-200m [£86.4m-172.9m] on the table, Bayern won’t even discuss it. They want to give him a new contract. Eberl also reiterated that Olise doesn’t have a release clause. So, Bayern are in the driver’s seat.”

Vinicius commits future to Madrid

Vinicius Junior has told SPORT that he wants to stay at Real Madrid for a ”long time”, seemingly ending months of speculation linking him with a move away from the Bernabeu.
The Brazilian star has been rumoured to be on the way out of the Spanish capital following a difficult 2025/26 campaign that saw him reportedly fall out with former Madrid manager Xabi Alonso.

However, he has been back to his best under Alvaro Arbeloa, producing four goals in his last six La Liga appearances while also scoring twice in the second leg of his side’s last-16 clash with Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

He told SPORT that he is 100% committed to Real Madrid ahead of Brazil’s 2-1 defeat against France.
“I’m only thinking about Real Madrid and staying there for a long time,” he told the Spanish website.

Atletico eye Torres move

Atletico Madrid want to add to their attacking options by signing Barcelona forward Ferran Torres this summer, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The Spain international returned to La Liga from Premier League giants Manchester City in January 2022 and has played an important role this season.

He has produced 16 goals and one assist in 40 appearances across all competitions this term, helping his side go four points clear at the top of the league table.

Fichajes believe his record in front of goal is what has caught Atletico’s eye.

”Ferran Torres has shown remarkable resilience at FC Barcelona, accumulating significant goal-scoring figures despite not having an undisputed starting role,” read the article.

”During the current season under Hansi Flick’s orders, the Valencia forward has added valuable minutes.

”His ability to act as a reference in attack or drift to the wings is what most appeals to the Madrid sports management.

”The 16 goals scored in 40 official matches endorse his goal-scoring instinct and constant threat generation.”

Leverkusen activate Alajbegovic’s buy-back clause

Bayer Leverkusen have activated a buy-back clause that will allow them to re-sign Kerim Alajbegovic at the end of the season.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international came through the German club’s youth system, but he was sold to Red Bull Salzburg last summer.

Alajbegovic has impressed since joining the Austrian club, producing 11 goals and three assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Leverkusen have confirmed on social media that the deal has been completed, revealing that the 18-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club.

”Welcome back, Kerim,” the club posted on X, formerly Twitter. ”Alajbegovic rejoins Bayer 04 after one year in Salzburg. He has signed a contract for 5 years in Leverkusen.”
