Iran mobilizes 1 million ground troops and reservists in preparation for a possible US amphibious landing to come in the near future. This happens just as the 82nd Airborne’s BCT and the USS Triploi carrying the 11th MEU arrive into the area shortly. Currently the US is sending mixed signals about possible peace talks, saying they are going well, and then saying Iran is not treating them seriously. The IAEA has issued a stark warning that further actions near the Bushehr nuclear powerplant could lead to irreprable consequences for the region if it was hit heavily and severely damaged. Ukraine has hit the Russian port of Ust Luga and St. Petersburg over the course of the day, leading to major fires and damage once again. the fires at Primorsk were visible from Vyborg several dozen miles away. Ukraine has held the line and pushed the Russians back once more.
