Nottingham Forest are fighting for Premier League survival and are also through to the Europa League quarter-finals
Nottingham Forest are all set for a big finish to what has been a season unlike any other.
Fingernails will be bitten and permutations will be worked out in the coming weeks as the Reds look to beat the drop in the Premier League. Meanwhile, there could be some silverware up for grabs as the Europa League reaches its final stages.
It has been a campaign full of ups and downs, not to mention four different managers, at the City Ground. But Forest will hope they can finish it in style.
Securing top flight survival remains the priority for head coach Vitor Pereira. The 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur prior to the international break moved the club three points clear of the relegation zone with seven games to go.

First up when the Reds return from the hiatus, however, is a meeting with Porto in the Europa League quarter-finals. Pereira’s men are in Portugal for the first leg on April 9, followed by the return at the City Ground a week later.
This term hasn’t exactly panned out how Forest might have hoped, having returned to continental competition for the first time in three decades courtesy of last year’s seventh-placed finish. Below is a look at what Reds fans have said about it all, on NottinghamshireLive’s website and Facebook page …
David Egner: A season of big mistakes at the very top of the club. Hopefully we’ll survive & get it together next season.
Rosemarie Boyle: Nervy and exciting. COYR!! Onwards and upwards! Bring on the magic!
Alan Sadler: Keep going Forest.
Jayne Dimambro: Hopefully we’ll keep improving and survive
Leigh James: Well it’s not forest if the lads don’t make us want to love them, kill them, love them again and cause a minimum of 5 heart attacks along the way. Let’s be honest…. Who doesn’t want a season where we can beat Liverpool away 3-0 and can draw at home with wolves. The unpredictability of football is what makes it.
Foreverred: Pessimism? that belongs in the sheep shed. Optimism, that’s for us, COYR.
9152K: 42 points ought to be safe
Redken61: Firstly, Pereira has done a great job since coming in. Forget Wolves (he even kept them up) and look at his record everywhere else: trophies and success. He hasn’t had time to fully ingrain his philosophy on the squad but you can see they love playing for him and the freedom he gives them.
He has quickly formed a family again, but don’t think he’s a Nuno Mark Two, he is far, far better than that. He has returned our first team to play without fear and looking capable of beating anybody when we click, we were so unlucky losing to Liverpool too. We are just four games from the Europa League Final, but I would gladly trade that to stay up. I am in no doubt we will stay up, anything else is a bonus.
Kicker Conspiracy: I have been very impressed by the performances against Man City, Midtjylland and Spurs.
