Another addition to PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for April 2026 has been revealed, and this one will be enjoyed by anime fans: Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream.
A report from last week revealed that the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games headliner for April 2026 will be Lords of the Fallen. Now, the same insider has also provided us with the second addition for this month, along with other details, including when the games will be available to download for PS Plus Essential members in April and more.
PlayStation Plus April 2026 Monthly Games Will Introduce Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream
The latest report arrives from the reliable billbil-kun through Dealabs. It confirms that the second title for PlayStation Plus free monthly games in April is Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. It wasn’t confirmed whether a third game will be revealed as well. The report also states that the official announcement from PlayStation should arrive on April 1, and the game should be available to download from April 7.
Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream is a new adventure where 21 characters from the SAO series join Kirito in a new battle. The title has a single-player story mod featuring an original story in which “Characters from across time and space, each with their own destiny, gather to confront the anomaly in the VR world.” There are also online modes, such as boss raids, co-op quests, and free roam.
In boss raids, players will see 20 players in five parties of four players each, take down gigantic bosses. Co-op quest has five parties of four starting together to gradually meet in a final showdown against a boss as the quest progresses. Free roam allows players to freely explore a vast map filled with powerful bosses and treasure chests.
