On the whole, Olivia Dean takes up a lot of real estate in my brain. Whether it’s the lyrics to Man I Need on loop, or a constant slideshow catalogue of all her best on and off-stage outfits, I’m obsessed.
Over the past year or so, the 27-year-old East London-born creative has made an It-Girl name for herself, rising to fame through no fault of her own. We’re not even halfway through the year yet, and Olivia already has a Grammy, three Brits, and three MOBO awards.
Thankfully for those like me who are infatuated with everything she does, each and everytime she steps on stage to accept one of the aforementioned awards, she’s dressed in something utterly exciting.
From her custom Chanel by Matthieu Blazy Grammy gown to her butter yellow Thom Browne column dress she donned to the CFDA Awards late last year, without further ado, I give you all the very best outfits the dazzling star has worn on her journey to being one of the most notable names in music.
To accept her first-ever Grammy for Best New Artist at the 68th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1st, Olivia called on Matthieu Blazy to create her a custom Chanel gown fit for the princess. The black and white sequin and satin mix dress turned heads on the red carpet, a selection of feather fringing adding to the whole ensemble.
Spotted at the Pre-Grammy Gala ahead of her big win, the 27-year-old opted for a sleek black scale-like gown crafted by the iconic Conner Ives. The dress was made from hundreds of circular leather cutouts.
16Arlington was her choice of designer for the 2026 Spotify Best New Artist party. Fitting her like a glove, Olivia opted for a sequin purple, black and grey printed square neck maxi. Simple yet effortless, the dress was the perfect party guest.
Possibly my favourite celeb red carpet look to date was her 2026 BRIT Awards Loewe column dress. The bold and beautiful fitted gown was an eye-catching statement, made in vibrant yellow and embroidered with floral motifs in electric blue.
A Chanel girl through and through, Olivia attended the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show in Paris earlier this year, styling a white fluffy skirt and vibrant neon yellow animal print jacket from the brand’s latest collection.
To sit FROW at Burberry’s February show, Olivia cosied up in a sleek, chic head-to-toe look from the iconic British brand. Styling a trench coat maxi skirt with a cosy beige knit jumper, the star oozed effortless elegance.
Attending the 2025 ARIA Awards down under in Sydney late last year, the Man I Need singer secured a glamorous gown created by London-based designer Richard Quinn. Looking like literal royalty, the strapless gown was accented with intricate floral motif beading and a voluminous bubble skirt.
Proving butter yellow is still very much on trend for SS26, she stepped onto the 2025 CFDA Awards red carpet in a strapless Thom Browne dress. The dreamy pastel shade turned heads, while her dazzling Cartier diamonds added a touch of dazzling delight.
