SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Pink Gingham by Caroline Ziv appeared on Suncoast View for a Florida spring fashion show.
Founder Caroline started making the all-cotton woodblock fabric because she thought they would be perfect to keep cool in Florida’s hot climate. She has partnered with artisans making woodblock print fabric and clothing in Jaipur, India, and Pink Gingham was born.
Ziv said she loves the unique qualities of hand printing and how the ink doesn’t always fit exactly within the outlines of the pattern.
From bedding to pillows and pajamas, everything from Pink Gingham is designed to be colorful, comfortable and classic. The 100% cotton goods are created by artisans using centuries-old woodblock techniques. Because they’re made from hand blocked fabric, each item is one-of-a-kind.
