Amid the latest injury update on Nikola Jokic and the other sidelined Denver Nuggets players, trade rumors hint at a replacement for the star.
The NBA announced the two Players of the Week on Monday, March 30.
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is the winner for the Western Conference.
Jokic’s latest accomplishment comes after an impressive Denver win over the Golden State Warriors. Jokic checked in for 36 minutes. He shot 10-20 from the field, producing 25 points.
The Nuggets’ center secured a double-double with 15 rebounds. He nearly notched another triple-double by accounting for eight assists on the night.
The Nuggets dominated the Warriors with a score of 116-93.
With that win, the Nuggets improved to 48-28 on the season. They have now won six games in a rowm chasing the Los Angeles Lakers, who are 1.0 gaes ahead with the Western Conference’s third seed.

via NBA PR: Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum have been named the NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 23 of the 2025-26 season (March 23-29).
As the NBA highlighted, Jokic averaged a triple-double for the week.
The Nuggets’ star big man accounted for 26.0 points per game, 17.0 rebounds per game, and 14.0 assists per game.
The wins came against the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, and the Warriors.
This season, Jokic has appeared in 60 games. The veteran center is shooting 57.3% from the field, and knocking down 38.8% of his threes.

Jokic is posting averages of 27.9 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 10.8 assists.
The Nuggets’ superstar shares this week’s honors with the Boston Celtics forward, Jayson Tatum. The league announced that the other nominees on the West’s side included Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Darius Garland, Kawhi Leonard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Alperen Sengun, Victor Wembanyama, and Denver guard, Jamal Murray.
