MADAWASKA, Maine (WAGM) — Residents at Country Village Estates took center stage this weekend for a unique community event celebrating personal stories through fashion.
The “Family Rooted Fashion Show 2026” was held Saturday at the facility, featuring five residents who modeled outfits styled to reflect their personalities and life experiences. The event was organized by Sandra Deprey, who worked with participants to select and coordinate clothing from their own wardrobes.
During the show, Deprey shared stories behind each outfit, highlighting meaningful moments and individual backgrounds.
The event was open to the public and included live music by Dick Marston, along with a wine and cheese social for attendees.
Participants included Lionel Daigle, Jacqueline Daigle, Hudo Russell, Marie Lebel, and Gertrude Daigle.
