GUERRERO CONDUCTS PÉTROUCHKA
His viral moment may have been as the conductor in Bad Bunny’s widely celebrated Super Bowl halftime show, but Giancarlo Guerrero was already beloved in Music City thanks to his pedigree as Nashville Symphony’s Music Director for 16 seasons, from 2009 to 2025. He is currently the Music Director Designate and continues to explore Stravinsky’s great works with Pétrouchka, the Russian tragedy of love and rivalry between three puppets in a fairground.
