Former Golden State Warriors player Nick Young believes Jaden Ivey committed a cardinal sin by speaking ill of his former teammate, Stephen Curry, viewing it as a more serious offense than his inflammatory remarks about the LGBTQ community, LeBron James and the NBA.

While reacting to reports of Ivey being waived by the Chicago Bulls on Monday, Young blasted the former Boilermaker for bizarrely attacking Curry in his IG rants and questioning the Warriors star’s commitment to Christianity.

Young believes Ivey may never play in the NBA again due to his remarks on Curry.

“You’re done in the NBA,” Young told Ivey via an IG Live post.

“It ain’t even about the [LGBTQ] community you was talking about, it’s the fact that your a** went at Stephen Curry,” added Young.

Jaden Ivey: NBA Career Over?

“…You talked about Steph Curry?

“… know God done blessed him, the NBA done blessed him. You done told God’s favorite child that he’s not a Christian. I can’t believe this [expletive].”

As Young alluded to, Ivey alleged in his IG rant on Monday that Curry was not a real Christian, as he had not truly “surrendered” to God and uses curse words.

“That’s why you got Steph Curry, who’s not even surrendered, and y’all think he’s a Christian,” Ivey said on IG Live.

“Y’all believe he’s a Christian because he wrote Philippians 4:13. Y’all think he’s a Christian. He cursing just like the world.”

Nick Young tells Jaden Ivey: ‘You’re done in the NBA!It’s not your dissing of the LGBT community that’s gonna get you blackballed it’s calling out the golden child Steph Curry not being a Christian.
He says your only hope now is Claim you’re gay

Bulls Waive Jaden Ivey

If Young’s prediction comes true, Ivey, an unrestricted free agent, could struggle to find any suitors this offseason.

After the Bulls waived Ivey for “conduct detrimental to the team” on Monday, the 24-year-old guard went back on IG Live to defend his honor.

“They said your conduct has been detrimental to the team… I haven’t even been with the team because I’ve been rehabbing,” Ivey said. “So how is my conduct detrimental to the team? What have I done to detriment? Did I say “you suck” (to the players)?

“That would be detrimental to the team if I’m saying the players suck. We supposed to be teammates. We’re supposed to be on the same team, right? We’re supposed to be passing to each other, right?”

Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said that while he and the franchise respect people from “different backgrounds,” they don’t condone attacks against other communities.

“There’s a certain level of expectations and standards that are here,” Donovan said on Monday night, via ESPN’s Jamal Collier.

“Everybody comes with their own personal experiences, right? But we have to all be professional, there has to be a high level of respect for one another, and we’ve got to help each other and be accountable to those standards.”
