OHFA Board Approves Financing for Five Housing Developments

COLUMBUS, OH – On March 19th, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved financing from various programs to support five housing developments to create or preserve affordable housing units throughout the state. The developments that received Board approvals for funding are:

Central

Green Oaks of Grove City: EREG Senior Living LLC received approval authorizing the issuance of up to $35 million in Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds and will receive a 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) reservation. The development will create 120 new units of affordable assisted living in Grove City (Franklin County).

Green Oaks of Walnut Creek: EREG Senior Living LLC received approval authorizing the issuance of up to $39 million in Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds and will receive a 4% LIHTC reservation. The development will create 120 new units of affordable assisted living in Columbus (Franklin County).

Northwest

Fountain Creek Senior Villas: Co-developers Frontier Community Services and Williams County Port Authority received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan and $1 million in Housing Development Assistance Program funding. The development, which received a 2025 9% LIHTC reservation, will construct 50 new units for older Ohioans in Bryan (Williams County).

Perrysburg Senior Lofts: Co-developers Pivotal Development LLC and St. Mary Development Corporation received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The development, which previously received a 2025 9% LIHTC reservation, will construct 70 new units for older Ohioans in Perrysburg (Wood County).

Southwest

Green Oaks of Fairborn: EREG Senior Living LLC received approval authorizing the issuance of up to $35 million in Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds and will receive a 4% LIHTC reservation. The development will create 120 new units of affordable assisted living in Fairborn (Greene County).
