CHLA Make March Matter Campaign Raises $1.25M With Fashion Brands

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is tapping the power of fashion and community for its 2026 Make March Matter campaign, bringing together a roster of contemporary and luxury brands to support pediatric care across the region.

Since its launch in 2016 by CHLA’s Dawn Wilcox, Make March Matter has raised more than $15 million, with over 500 businesses contributing to date. This year the campaign surpassed its $1.25 million goal in celebration of the hospital’s 125th anniversary, WWD has learned.

The 2026 initiative features partnerships with brands including Anine Bing, Irene Neuwirth, Monday Swimwear, Jenni Kayne and Veronica Beard, alongside a network of retail participants hosting in-store events and donating a percentage of sales throughout the month of March.

Brands activated their L.A. storefronts with community-focused events. Anine Bing, for one, hosted a Beverly Hills shopping event co-chaired by actress Malin Akerman and others, with 20 percent of proceeds benefiting the hospital. Similar efforts from Kendra Scott, Christofle Beverly Hills and others gave consumers additional ways to support the cause, both in-store and online.

“It’s an honor to help support Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and its Make March Matter fundraising campaign,” said Bing, founder and creative director of her namesake label. “For me, it is a privilege to host these kinds of shopping events that bring together the local community to support such a great cause.”

She added that she has seen firsthand the hospital’s impact across L.A. and is proud to contribute to its future.

Akerman echoed the sentiment, adding that “saving lives is everyone’s business.”
