Former Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love hosts financial literacy workshop at South Bend school

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Former Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love hosted a financial literacy workshop for students at Swanson Traditional School on Tuesday morning.

Credit Union 1 partnered with Love for the event. Love is ranked as one of the top players in the upcoming NFL draft next month.

The presentation featured a financial literacy comic book, aligning with Love’s interest as a comic book fan.

“I play football to inspire people. I feel like God put me on this earth to inspire people with my play and spread love with my play and just to encourage others to be the best version of themself,” Love said. “It meant a lot to be here today with these kids to talk to them and let them see me. They can see what they could become if they do the right things so it meant a lot.”
