    For the second edition of Numéro New York, renowned artist and performer Marina Abramović gives an exclusive interview. Known for her intense performances, she expands on her vision of spirituality and pornography, and shares her thoughts on New York’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani. A true New York figure, writer and speaker Fran Lebowitz talks with journalist Elisabeth Von Thurn Und Taxis. An intimate and surprising encounter.

    Another standout interview is the one with cinema icon Benicio Del Toro. The Puerto Rican actor, recently seen in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another (2025) – the big winner at the 2026 Oscars – looks back on three decades of collaboration with some of the most visionary directors in cinema.     Fashion, painting, performance and architecture at the heart of this new Numéro New York

    Numéro New York also met five independent designers in their studios – Colm Dillane (aka KidSuper), Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen, Raul Lopez, Stephanie Suberville and Edvin Thompson. A group of young talents redefining the contours of contemporary fashion.

    As one of his immersive works, HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 3, is on view until July 19th, 2026, at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, sound engineer Devon Turnbull offers a dive into his musical universe.

    In the columns of Numéro New York, readers are invited into the home of curator and collector Peter Brant Jr. They will discover Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, who is reshaping New York’s urban landscape through an ambitious, sustainable approach, and French artist Camille Henrot, who presents a series of watercolours depicting the characters from her first play, Commedia dell’arte (2026).

    Finally, readers will discover the fashion and jewellery series shot by Torbjørn Rødland, Angalis Field, Steven John Miner, Drew Jarrett and Josh Hight. Makeup photographs by Ben Hassett are centered on Peter Philips‘s work, Creative and Image Director of Dior Beauty.
