Aiken Newcomers’ Club holds annual fashion show fundraiser

The runway at Newberry Hall was filled with color, style and community spirit featuring fashions by Vikki’s… A Unique Boutique.

On March 10, the Aiken Newcomers’ Club hosted a Fundraiser Fashion Show as part of its monthly meeting.

The show highlighted the diversity of fashions available at Vikki’s, featuring everything from beach casual to Steeplechase-ready full outfits. The models, all members of the Aiken Newcomers’ Club, brought their energy to the runway, and showcased outfits, shoes, handbags, jewelry and fascinators.

The Whiskey Road boutique was tasked with bringing outfits to the runway that are wearable, accessible and stunning.

This event serves as the major fundraiser for the Aiken Newcomers’ Club, successfully raising money to be donated to local charities.

The April luncheon will be Tuesday, April 14, at Newberry Hall. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. The cost of lunch is $25.

At the May luncheon, checks will be presented to area charities selected this year. Last year, the club donated over $7,500 to local charities.
