On Feb. 23 at the Palm Desert Resort Country Club, The Ranch Recovery Centers held its 21st annual luncheon, gathering guests in support of the Desert Hot Springs–based nonprofit. The Ranch has provided residential alcohol and drug treatment since 1972, serving hundreds annually through specialized programs and transitional living environments designed for long-term recovery.
The event’s signature Runway to Recovery fashion show — featuring designs by Maria Lopez and presented by Palm Desert clothing store Grayseful — brought energy and movement to the room. An opportunity drawing gave guests a chance to win designer handbags and accessories.
The luncheon also honored donors who helped fund the organization’s new medical services building, underscoring the tangible impact of community generosity. “Every sponsorship and registration directly supports people who are ready to reclaim their lives,” President and CEO Rick Mesa said. The new facility will grant clients access to routine checkups and expand substance use treatment support.
