Flory Bidunga will enter the transfer portal and explore his NBA draft potential, according to a report from ESPN.
The 2024 Indiana Mr. Basketball from Kokomo was named the Big 12 defensive player of the year last season at Kansas as he averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game. Bidunga was named first team All-Big 12 as a sophomore.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Bidunga “intends to declare for the NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility. He also intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, as he’s keeping open the option to return to college.”
The 6-9 Bidunga, who finished his career at Kokomo with 1,609 points, 1,132 rebounds and 402 blocked shots, is projected as late first round or early second round NBA draft pick.
Bidunga was twice named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Indiana during his illustrious high school career, joining Lawrence North’s Greg Oden (2005, 2006), North Central’s Jason Gardner (1998, 1999), Bedford North Lawrence’s Damon Bailey (1989, 1990) and Marion’s Jay Edwards (1986, 1987) as two-time winners.
