THE DETAILS The collaboration marks the first scientific agreement between the two organisations, combining L’Oréal’s expertise in skin science with Institut Pasteur’s strengths in immunology, microbiology and biomarker research. The partnership will focus on studying the skin microbiome, immune responses and biological markers to better understand skin’s role in overall health. It aims to accelerate the discovery of new biological targets and support the development of next-generation active ingredients, with research formalised following a joint scientific symposium in France.
