The Vancleave softball team hosted the Wayne County War Eagles for game two of the regional series. The Lady Bulldogs are looking for revenge after losing a close 6-7 game on Tuesday. Vancleave seventh grader Sophia Wilson was a force in the circle all night long and it’d be a pitcher’s dual until the seventh inning. Wayne County would earn the first run of the night in the top of the seventh, but fighting back harder was the Bulldogs as they score two runs in the bottom of the seventh to walk it off 2-1! They now improve to third in the regional standings.
