If you notice more Trainers than usual gathering around Bristol’s Gyms this Saturday afternoon, don’t be surprised. They’re not just battling, they’re battling in style. Pokémon GO’s Fashion Raid Day arrives on Saturday, April 4 from 2 to 5 p.m., bringing a lineup of costumed Pokémon back into raids with boosted Shiny odds and plenty of bonuses to keep Trainers spinning Gym discs across the city. Whether you’re walking through Rockwell Park, looping around Page Park, or hitting Gyms downtown, this is a fast-paced, raid-heavy event designed for Trainers who want to maximize rewards in a short window.

Fashion Raid Day

Free Bonuses includes up to six free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, Increased Shiny chance for featured raid Pokémon, Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20. If you purchase the Event Ticket ($4.99), you get the following upgrades:

  • Up to 14 additional Raid Passes
  • Increased Rare Candy XL chance

Tips for trainers

Plan a Gym Route: Hit clusters of Gyms at Rockwell Park, Page Park, and the Downtown Bristol area to maximize your free passes. Walking loops will help you cycle raids efficiently.

Raid in Groups: This event moves quickly. Teaming up with other local players will help you clear more raids, especially for tougher bosses like Dragonite and Absol.

Use Your Free Passes First: Spin Gyms early and often. You can stack up to six free passes, so don’t let them go to waste.

Go Remote Late: With the Remote Raid cap increased to 20, you can continue raiding even after you’ve left your route.

Looking ahead: Tinkatink Community Day

The stylish fun doesn’t stop there. The following weekend brings Tinkatink Community Day on Saturday, April 11 (2–5 p.m.), featuring:

  • 3× Catch Stardust
  • 2× Catch Candy + increased Candy XL chance
  • A powerful exclusive move: Gigaton Hammer
  • Increased Shiny Tinkatink encounters

If Fashion Raid Day is about fast-paced action, Community Day will be all about steady grinding and big rewards.

Also coming soon: Sustainability Week

Later in the month, Sustainability Week (April 14–20) encourages Trainers to explore Routes, featuring:

  • Debuts like Silicobra
  • Increased Shiny chances for Pokémon like Lapras and Togetic
  • A new GO Pass progression system with rewards

From stylish raids to Stardust-filled Community Days, April is shaping up to be a packed month for Pokémon GO players in Bristol. So charge your phone, gather your raid group, and get ready to strike a pose, because these Pokémon are bringing the fashion and the fight.
