The Last Of Us was a hit of a game and the TV series that has followed has taken that to new heights. As such it would make sense for the game to have a follow-up.
Posted on Instagram by Neil Druckmann, the game’s studio head over at Naughty Dog, were some teasing words.

Some artwork was posted with the line: “Been a wild journey. Grateful for every part of it, especially the few stops that remain on the road ahead.”
For context, Naughty Dog posted some early concept art – from 2003 – which eventually became the original game, a full decade later.
So we’re at a stage that is very vague and fans are excited without the studio confirming anything. In fact, this could be a reference to the third season of the TV show for all we know at this stage. Or could it?
That said, Druckmann is reportedly not going to be as involved in the third series of the show. So that does seem to suggest he is excited about a project he may be working on in that same world – and since it was posted from the game studio’s account, thinking it’s a new game isn’t a huge leap.
The Last of Us Part 3: Pricing and release date
To be clear, The Last of Us Part 3 has not been named or mentioned officially. This is very much a fan excitement rumour stage.
However, if they are getting underway with the new game, we could hope to see some real teases coming soon.
