Few clothing items are as essential for in-between weather as a luxurious sweater made with cashmere. This sartorial staple covers all my bases (warm, cozy, stylish and timeless) but it often comes with a high price tag. And as much as I love an investment piece, I have been living in this cashmere-blend designer doppelganger that I found at Amazon since last fall — and I’m pleased to share that you can get it for a fraction of the price of most cashmere garments.

This comfortable sweater has an ultra-stylish, slouchy, oversized fit that is eerily reminiscent of The Row’s Ophelia sweater. (Frankly, it’s the best lookalike of this highly-coveted $1,550 sweater I’ve seen yet, down to its many lovely details). The casual silhouette is topped with a ribbed crew neck, cuffs and hem and it features a chic seam rear traveling along the spine.
The sweater has a hefty hand-feel and is incredibly warm and drapes beautifully. The silhouette looks and feels intentional, and the neckline is structured in a way that it almost looks like a mock-neck at times.
It’s fabricated with 15% cashmere that keeps the sweater soft, warm and buttery, while the addition of acrylic ensures it’s hearty and durable. I have put it through the ringer and am pleased to report that after about four months of near-constant use, it’s still in great shape. I make an effort to lay it flat after it’s washed, but to be honest often forget. It hasn’t shrunk or warped yet.
This versatile sweater is easy to dress up or down and looks good on everyone. I highly recommend picking up your own in a few colors. It’s also a great travel sweater —I don’t mind it getting a bit beat up since it’s so affordable and have worn it on multiple long-haul flights. It’s significantly less delicate than 100% cashmere clothes, so it can hold up to long days wrangling my toddler, exploring the outdoors, schlepping luggage or a million grocery bags and more.
Take a look at what other devoted shoppers have to say and then grab it in numerous easy-to-style colors from wine red to periwinkle blue, and sizes XS-XL. I’ll be snagging another one myself, posthaste!

Promising reviews:
“These sweaters are amazing. I now own 4. Well made, soft and comfy and a little oversized which I love. I am 5’2” 115lbs. I ordered them in a small and they are perfect. They hang nice. You can wash them in cold and toss in the dryer. Haven’t shrunk or pilled once. I will say the yellow was a tad bigger than the other 3 even though it was also a small so that was odd but still looks great.” — Traci Sherwood
“The ultimate winter staple. I’m obsessed with this sweater! It feels incredibly soft and high-end without the designer price tag. The oversized fit is perfectly chic—not sloppy—and the cashmere blend is warm yet breathable. It’s my new go-to for everything from leggings to silk skirts. It washes well and looks far more expensive than it is. A must-have for any wardrobe!” — Kgent
“Wow this sweater is great quality. It’s immediately comfortable, lays nicely, color is just as pictured. Great value. Will be ordering other colors.” — Kristina Kuchinski
“I really love this sweater. The material is super soft and comfortable without feeling heavy or itchy. It has a relaxed fit that looks effortless but still put together, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It drapes nicely and doesn’t cling in weird places. The color is beautiful and looks just like the photos. I’ve worn it casually with jeans and also dressed it up a bit, and it works both ways. After washing, it still looks great and hasn’t lost its shape. Overall, this is a really solid, cozy staple and I would absolutely buy it again in another color.” — Ashley Henson
“Good quality. Not itchy like some cheaper sweaters. Fits slightly large. Bought multiple colors.Super soft. Haven’t washed yet.” — Hannah
“I love love love this sweater! It’s oversized and incredibly soft and high quality. It’s super comfortable and I wear it all the time now. It has washed really well on gentle cycle and laid flat on a towel to dry. The brown color is a nice coffee color brown. I will likely purchase more colors now!” — CJ221

This sweater rake is perfect for those looking to avoid batteries and chargers. It not only gives clothes a facelift, but also removes pet hair, crumbs and more from fabrics. It has a pure copper head that will work wonderfully for years to come. You can use it on your sweaters and coats, but it’s also great for couches, blankets, bedspreads and even rugs. Anderson has a similar one from Purl Soho on her wishlist, but this one would definitely get the job done while the belovd knitting store restocks.

An expert-recommended electric shaver
Nori’s highly-rated electric fabric shaver is the knitwear depilatory of choice for New York City-based knitwear expert Catherine Lerer Anderson. It’s definitely on the splurgier side, but she hasn’t had any fateful incidents since she began to use it.
