Los Angeles recalled Knecht from the G League’s South Bay Lakers on Saturday.
Knecht is back in the parent club after helping the G League affiliate reach the conference finals. Although he came off the bench in each of South Bay’s last two games, the forward made an all-around impact and posted a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds during Friday’s win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He’ll look to play some minutes if he continues to serve as a depth option for the main team for the rest of the season.
