Weatherly Middle School Science Olympiad team qualifies for states – Hazleton Standard Speaker

Weatherly Middle School Science Olympiad team has qualified for the state competition at Penn State Altoona on April 25.

The team, made up of sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students, competed at the regional competition at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. The team placed in the top 6 teams and earned a spot at the state competition. Students competed in 23 different STEM events.

All 20 team members will travel to Penn State Altoona at the end of April to compete against the best young scientists and engineers in the state.
