ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque opened its Route 66 Visitor Center to the public with a new photography exhibition and live music for the road’s 100th anniversary.
Trevor Vo said the city opened the long-awaited visitor center to the public. The center featured a new photography exhibition and live music as part of the celebration.
Visitors will have to wait a few extra days to go back. The center will reopen on April 9 and begin its regular schedule Thursday.
The center sits on Central in southwest Albuquerque. It will be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
