A representative for Dayoung’s label revealed that Shiloh got the part without the label knowing who her famous parents were.
Shiloh Jolie is moving up in her career and stepping into the world of K-pop, one dance move at a time. The 19-year-old made her music video debut in the corresponding visual for Dayoung’s “What’s a Girl to Do,” and unsurprisingly looks sooooo much like her mother, Angelina Jolie.
The full video isn’t out yet, but Shiloh appeared at the 16 second mark in the video.

Now don’t go thinking that Shiloh only got the job because of her famous parents. According to Starship Entertainment (Dayoung’s label), she earned the spot all on her own. The label didn’t even know that Shiloh parents were Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt until after filming for the video concluded.
“We held an open audition in the United States of America (US) to cast performers for Dayoung’s music video. Among those who took part were several performers affiliated with a dance crew called ‘Culture,’” a representative from Starship Entertainment told Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today.
The statement continued, “Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video. Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”
Shiloh has been passionate about dance for quite some time now. Choreographer Kolanie Marks opened up about working with her and explained how dedicated she is. “She’s someone that I’ve worked with for a couple years now,” Kolanie said in a 2024 interview with People.
“My style is a lot harder for a lot of people and it’s something that she’s dedicated herself to trying to figure out,” he noted, adding that he respects her commitment to “to a craft that is extremely hard.”
