Sorry, Leopard—Tiger Is the It Print for Fashion and Home

Interior décor trends may move at a much slower pace than fashion trends do, but ever so often they happen to align perfectly, and spring 2026 is one of the those moments. Animal prints of all kinds have been popping lately with doe print, zebra print, and snake print bubbling up, but none are reaching quite a fever pitch as tiger print is. This season, designers across fashion and home décor alike are posing a united front on tiger being the newest It print and it feels like a fresh evolution of the leopard-print trend that’s dominated up til now. With that, we’re officially introducing tiger print as the “It” print to know for 2026.

Open up Pinterest and you’ll see the evidence everywhere—images of Rihanna stepping out in a full head-to-toe tiger-print moment in Alaïa live next to snapshots of stylized living rooms that feature tiger-print ottomans and area rugs. In the luxury world, Alaïa was one of the first to put tiger on the map this year with printed versions of its beloved ballet flats and Le Click bag, then in the look book for Demna’s debut Gucci collection, Alex Consani posed in a massive tiger-print fur coat. And on the street, a sweep of fashion people wearing tiger-print coats had a viral moment this past winter. But the trend is only just heating up as designers are using it for swim and beachwear, too, so I only expect the momentum to keep going throughout the year.

Here, discover and shop the rising tiger-print trend that’s taking over fashion and home décor in 2026.
