Princess Charlotte looked adorable on Easter Sunday morning as she stepped out at St. George’s Chapel alongside her mother and father, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.
Looking as lovely as ever, the ten-year-old chose to keep out the chill in a bespoke butterscotch Catherine Walker coat dress which featured contrasting mocha brown lapels, buttons, and cuffs. The young royal last wore the statement style at church on Christmas Day 2025. Charlotte added resplendent ballet pumps by Tory Burch, a brand loved by her mother, Princess Kate.
Charlotte’s late grandmother, the wonderful Princess Diana, wore a similar coat back in 1982. The former wife of King Charles donned a sophisticated and elegant camel and brown checked coat dress by Arabella Pollen on a visit to Wales that year.
Underneath Charlotte’s coat was a wonderful new frock by Self-Portrait. Identified by royal fashion Instagram account @katemiddletonstyle, Charlotte’s baby blue dress was known as the ‘Blue Pleated Chiffon Dress’ and is part of the brand’s current collection, priced at £200.
It has flowing cape detail, bow motifs, and is a keepsake item that can be passed down once it is outgrown.
If your daughter has a party or special event to head to, Monsoon has a similar style, in the same striking blue hue, complete with pleats, for £36.
Princess Charlotte, the style icon
“Princess Charlotte has become something of a fashion icon for timeless, heritage-inspired dressing,” Charlotte Kewley, baby and children’s fashion stylist, tells HELLO!. “Her outfits are always beautiful and avoid any obvious trends, but it’s the thoughtful details that make her look; the neatly tied hair bow, velvet collars, patent Mary Janes, and the classic wool coat,” she notes.
The talented professional, who goes by ‘The Little Stylist’ on Instagram, added: “At a time when many children aspire to look older than their years, it’s refreshing and lovely to see a ten-year-old girl looking her age! Not overly mature, not too casual. And never dressed in anything synthetic,” she explained.
