The royal family is out for Easter! Attending the Easter Matins Service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, Princess Kate, Prince William, and their three children joined the king and queen for a morning celebration. And for the occasion, the princess picked out her favorite cream dress—an embellished look we’ve seen her in before.

Cut from heavy crepe, the Self Portrait piece was designed to mimic the look of a blazer-and-skirt set. On top, a short, slim fitting jacket provided a bit of subtle structure, with shoulder pads, perfectly pressed lapels, and a matching belt cinched at the waist. Floral lace appliqués and little flap pockets added a bit of detail, taking it from simple to something fresh. The midi skirt offered a soft contrast to the blazer with a flared hem.

Kate accessorized the dress—which she first wore during an April 2022 appearance with Princess Anne—with a fascinator in the same cream hue. The hat was adorned with foliage motifs, playing into the embroidery of the jacket.

For jewelry, the princess went with a cross pendant necklace and pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth. (The delicate pieces were crafted from two rare pearls that were gifted to the late queen by the Hakim of Bahrain for her wedding in 1947.)

To finish off the look, Kate slipped into brown heels and grabbed a little micro bag from her go-to brand, DeMellier London. She walked in alongside Princess Charlotte, who coordinated with her mother in a tan coat with chocolate-brown accents.
