Specs comparison
Here are the specs of the Dell G15 and Acer Nitro V 15:
Design, build quality, and display

Both the Dell G15 and Acer Nitro V 15 feature an all-plastic build quality, which is common at this price range. However, the former is built like a tank, while the latter has a standard plastic build and looks much more subtle. The Dell laptop is more durable and has a robust hinge, so it wins in build quality.
As for the design, the Acer Nitro V 15 looks much better and is also thinner and lighter. This makes it more portable and easier to carry in the long run. As for the display, both the Dell G15 and Acer Nitro V 15 have a similar IPS panel. They cover only about 62–68% sRGB color space, which is extremely poor. Therefore, they are unsuitable for any work related to color grading.
Nonetheless, the Acer Nitro V 15’s panel is slightly better than the Dell G15 in terms of refresh rate and brightness.
