The Israeli defense company Elbit Systems Ltd announced on Monday that it has been awarded a contract worth approximately €650 million to supply the advanced multiple rocket launcher system PULS (Precise & Universal Launching System) to the Greek Armed Forces.
According to the company, the contract will be carried out over four years and includes an additional ten-year support period.
Under the agreement, Elbit Systems will deliver PULS launchers along with a comprehensive ammunition package, including training missiles, operational precision-guided missiles for various ranges, and loitering munitions.
The PULS artillery system is described as a comprehensive and cost-effective solution, capable of launching unguided rockets, precision-guided munitions, and missiles across multiple ranges.
Elbit Systems will also collaborate with Greek industries in the system’s production, including technology transfer and the sharing of know-how.
“Elbit Systems has a long-standing and successful cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense of Greece, and this project further strengthens that relationship. Greece joins other NATO countries that have selected the PULS system, underscoring its growing reputation as an effective and flexible solution for modern artillery needs in Europe and beyond,” said Bezhalel Machlis, chairman and CEO of Elbit Systems.
