When news broke that Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes had split back in September fans were not happy.
Turns out, the couple had quite the following. And for the folks who were sad to see things end … well, there might be good news on that front. They might not be done for good after all. In fact, US Weekly reported this week that the couple “never really stopped being in touch after their brief split.”
The source? Well, the outlet didn’t name them, but it did say that the 32-year-old country music star and the 33-year-old “Outer Banks” star “are back together.”
The source told US Weekly that after the two spent a little time apart, “Kelsea wanted to give it another chance and missed Chase a lot.”
The source also told US Weekly that Stokes “never wanted the breakup.”
“He always felt there was something between them and believed they just needed time to cool off and figure things out,” the source said.
And they are reportedly “hopeful this time around will be better.”
People Magazine reported the news of the split back in September citing a rep for Ballerini.
“They’re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn’t,” People reported that a source close to the couple said.
The Blast also reported that Ballerini and Stokes were recently spotted together in Europe, so … they appear to at least be hanging out.
Ballerini was previously married to Morgan Evans from 2017 through 2022.
