(Des Moines, IA) — The Science Center of Iowa is inviting leaders from across the state to explore the future of artificial intelligence and its impact across the state.
As artificial intelligence continues to develop rapidly, its impact is being felt in classrooms, boardrooms, and community centers across the state. Leaders from all across Iowa will be coming together to discuss the effects of AI on the state heading into the future. Rob Burnett with the Science Center of Iowa says:
“A lot of people don’t have a firm understanding of just how much AI is impacting their life today. There’s some ground-setting there to be done just to make sure everyone’s aware of just how much it’s running, operating, and helping decisions that we feel like are independent decisions and how much we’re being influenced.”
The first-of-its kind event will take place from 8:30am-3:30pm at the Science Center of Iowa on Monday, April 20th. There will be an open breakfast and networking event starting at 8am.
Registration is required and is free for educators and nonprofit participants. To register, visit the Science Center of Iowa website.
