Tania Small, SVP, Head of Medical Affairs at Bristol Myers Squibb, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Who are we fighting for?
Every one of us has a person.
Someone we’ve lost. Someone we’re afraid to lose.
That is the truth behind every clinical trial, every drug approval, every late night in the lab, every moment care reaches a patient.
Today – World Health Day – the call is simple: Stand with Science.
I’ll say it even more directly:
Stand with science. Because when science stalls, patients suffer. There’s no middle ground.
We are all human. We are all fragile. That’s our common ground.
So I’m asking you: what is Your Why?
Mine is every patient who ever left an imprint on my heart.”
