Two spring storm systems will impact the area through Monday morning. The first storm will be warmer, with some showers and a few T-storms likely at times through early Saturday. Snow levels will start above 7,000′ in the Sierra, falling to around Lake Tahoe-level Saturday. A second system will bring much colder air late Saturday through Sunday. Snow levels will fall down to 5,000′ by early Monday. Accumulating snow is likely in the Tahoe Basin and possible down to the foothills. Next week’s weather will dry out and slowly warm starting on Tuesday. -Jeff
