As the bustle of the school day quieted down, the night was just getting started at the DeRosa University Center. Twelve models took the stage in a runway show to celebrate sustainable fashion. Designers either thrifted the elements of their outfits or upcycled them into new pieces.
These are the winners across four categories:
Top Design in the Thrift Category: “Sergeant Worldwide” styled by Majed Al-Obaidan modeled by Nick Freeman
Top Design in the Upcycle Category: “Flying Fish Quinceañera Dress” by Hex
Top Tiger Fit: “Scarlet Tango” by Emmi Wong of the UOP Origami Club
Best in Show: “Reimagined Waistbands” by Ciara Reed walks
