KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A fashion show featuring Western Michigan University (WMU) students is returning next week.
WMU’s Merchandising Opportunities and Design Association (MODA) will present its annual fashion show, Pursuit of Happiness, next Friday at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Kalamazoo Conference Center at 7 p.m.
Attendees are invited to explore what happiness looks like through the eyes of WMU students.
Designers will display collections inspired by the people, memories, colors, and passions that inspire them, MODA said in a release.
The show brings together designers, models, stylists, and other creatives from across campus, not just fashion students. Organizers expect over 600 guests to attend.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Out Front Kalamazoo, supporting the local LGBTQ+ community.
