Having already clinched the Western Conference’s top seed, the OKC Thunder has ruled out 10 players for Friday night’s road game against the Denver Nuggets.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso, Ajay Mitchell, Isaiah Joe, Jaylin Williams and Thomas Sorber have all been ruled out.
OKC will have eight players available, including its three players on two-way contracts. That list consists of Lu Dort, Jared McCain, Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams, Nikola Topic, Branden Carlson, Brooks Barnhizer and Payton Sandfort.
OKC (64-16) secured the West’s top seed with a 128-110 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. The Thunder has now finished atop the conference for three straight seasons.
Meanwhile, Denver (52-28) still has plenty on the line Friday (8 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network). The Nuggets are third in the West with a 1.5-game lead over both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets.
