This is the sweet spot for many, for several reasons. At this size, QHD looks very crisp and clear, but without the price tag of a 4K or the need for a very expensive 4K gaming PC, too. That being said, it’s also not so small that you can’t use it for watching content, productivity, content creation, and other non-gaming tasks.
QD-OLED display

360Hz and 0.03ms response time
QHD monitors with this type of refresh rate are usually some of the most premium options you can go for, and they’re great if you want the option to game at 360fps. This monitor has a very low response time of 0.03ms, which means you’re going to get very low motion blur and ghosting, which is great for gaming in a general sense, but is especially good for competitive gameplay. This monitor also has FreeSync Premium Pro, which is AMD’s top-tier of adaptive sync technology. It basically eliminates screen tearing, but also adds in low-framerate compensation and improved HDR gaming performance, too.
Burn-in protection
With this monitor, you’ve got an advanced thermal modulation system that predicts surface temperature and adjusts brightness accordingly. It has a screen saver to prevent unnecessary heat buildup when not in use, and it can detect static images on screen, like logos and taskbars, and dim the brightness to those areas accordingly.
Things to consider
To be honest, there’s not a lot to consider here if you’re set on a 360Hz, QHD, QD-OLED monitor, as Samsung’s offerings are some of the best you can get, and not completely overpriced either compared to other alternatives from MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, and LG, for instance. I’d say the only real consideration is whether you want to pay a premium for 360Hz, while there are many QHD, QD-OLED, 240Hz options on the market. Something like this MSI gaming monitor is way more affordable, and still gives you plenty of headroom with 240Hz, for example.
