20 years after “The Devil Wears Prada” took audiences by storm, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the streets of New York City and “Runway” magazine as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel for the eagerly awaited sequel decades in the making.
Embracing the film’s theme, Streep and Hathaway kicked off their global press tour for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” in Mexico City at Museu Frida Kahlo. At a fan screening at Museo Anahuacalli, iconic archival pieces by renowned Mexican designers were presented on a runway inspired by the film, where the two debuted new looks for the evening. Mexico City was just the first stop on the tour.

The tour continued through Asia, from Tokyo to Seoul. After a press conference, Hathaway and Streep attended a New York-inspired red carpet, where Korean designers Park Seung Gun and Jaden Cho’s designs were featured.

For the fourth stop, the pair celebrated the film in Shanghai’s Taikoo Li Qiantan, where they were joined by China’s most stylish models, athletes and celebrities. See the lookbook for Shanghai at the top of this article!
Future tour stops include the film’s world premiere in New York City and a European premiere in London.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen and B.J. Novak. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as “Lily” and “Irv” from the first film.
The 20th Century Studios film “The Devil Wears Prada 2” premieres in theaters May 1.
